1 February 2002 Varese Sarabande release Heart & Soul Guitar, a compilation of Tony Mottola's Project 3 recordings - with liner notes by me again! See a list of all the Varese reissues to date on the CD page.
17 April 2001 Varese Sarabande reissue the 1974 Project 3 album Beatles Classics with lots of bonus tracks. And I wrote the liner notes! More info on the CD page.
6 December 2000 Mr F. Odder continues to show his dedication to the cause by sending in loads of cover scans. Thumb through the Command and Project 3 pages and drool over them now...

25 November 1998 Discographies for 45rpm singles hugely expanded
19 November 1998 Work on draft copy of Chris Dedrick interview finally complete. Copy sent to Chris for approval. Interview due to go live within 2 weeks.
12 September 1998 Discographies by Artist added. This feature allows you to generate discographies for all the musicians known to have recorded for Enoch Light.
22 August 1998 Set of links added to the Other Resources page enabling you to go straight to song-writers' entries at the ASCAP website.
25 July and 11 August 1998 Spoke at length to ex-Free Designer Chris Dedrick. The results of our conversation will appear shortly on the The Free Design site.
22 July 1998 The Free Design are given their own The Free Design within Spaced Out - with all the current reissue activity I thought they deserved it.
16 May 1998 Peter Hipwell informs me that several Command titles were issued in the UK by Pye! Thus began another discography.

20 March 1998 Menubar further improved and new 'Awards' page added to the site for the accolades which are starting to come our way.

2 May 1997 Major addition - Java applet which enables you to search site for artist/track titles.
1 May 1997 Site reworking continues: work started on making appearance consistent throughout (colors, fonts etc). Menu frame divider removed, thereby integrating menu with the rest of the site.
30 April 1997 Major site re-working commences, starting with a tasty new Java-enabled menu bar (be warned, this is what happens when you buy a "teach yourself Java" textbook(!) - and there's more of this to come…) .

3 April 1997 Waldorf Music Hall Discography expanded significantly (with thanks to Michael Toth). UK site re-established at Easynet, a provider offering unlimited FREE webspace! Expect to see dramatic expansion of the site. US site will continue to exist as a partial mirror.

18 August 1996 91st Anniversary of Enoch Light's birthday. Dick Hyman and Tony Mottola interviews go "live".
17 August 1996 Michael Toth throws Enoch Light "birthday party" in Canton, Ohio. Lem Lloyd and other Enoch Light relatives attend.
5-6 August 1996 Met up with Dick Hyman who was in Edinburgh for the Jazz Festival. He gave me his interview typed up and I gave him his first experience of the internet and showed him the Spaced Out site.
1 August 1996 Bundle of stuff received from Tony Mottola - including his handwritten responses to my questions.
25 June 1996 Called Tony Mottola - he agrees to be interviewed by mail.
March-June 1996 Requests for information from the Exotica Mailing List lead to the rapid expansion of the site.
26 February 1996 The doors open on a very basic Enoch Light site...
12 February 1996 I post the following question to the Exotica Mailing List: "And just why, if Enoch Light was such a superstar band-leader as he appears to have been, does no-one seem to know anything about him, and why isn't there an Enoch Light WWW page?! Hey, maybe I should set one up!" Thus began the adventure!

February 1995 'Inherited' Enoch Light's "Spaced Out" and Tony Mottola's "Guitar Factory" from my mum (ie: she was going to throw them out!). This re-kindles some interest...
